Carrolls was using a standard credit card machine to run payments. Their clients could not keep a default credit card on file, because there was no secure way to store their card information. Running payments involved scanning a card, entering the security code, signing the receipt, and then spending hours matching the correct payment to the order at the end of the day.
Carrolls wanted to reduce the man-hours involved in credit card processing and eliminate the potential for human error.
We integrated their current database with Stripe so credit cards can be charged for the correct amount automatically. The system stores card information as tokens, so they can store cards and be PCI compliant. Contractors can store multiple cards, and specify which cards can only be used for certain projects.
Now processing orders takes half the time it used to and piles of paper receipts are a thing of the past. Flat fees mean management knows exactly how much it costs to run a credit card. The finance office saves 20-30 hours a week because payments are automatically applied to the correct order.
