In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Sacred Builders realized they were evaluating their buildings like real estate and underestimating their value by not including things like pipe organs or historical components of buildings.
They wanted more reliable criteria for building evaluation, and a better way to turn the photos and notes taken on location into a PDF report to send to insurance companies.
We made a database that runs on an iPad as well as a desktop so notes and photos taken on location are already in the system. The system breaks the church into its component parts so each element of the building can be taken into effect when creating an insurance quote. All of the notes and photos are organized and in one place.
Now the quotes they make more accurately describe the value of the building and the churches have the insurance coverage they need. Having a central database makes quote creation quicker because no one has to interpret handwritten notes or import photos from emails.
